Spyders' Mama - 7/9/11

So today I thought I'd attempt a cache that a lot of people have found and have enjoyed. Spyders' Mama had a lot of favorite points, and B of KBLAST was wanting to take his kids here anyway. As usual, after the KBLAST team found it, I made my way to ground zero.

I searched for a while, but eventually gave in and read the hint. As you can see, I found the rope! I was so excited! I climbed up and started examining the rope, looking for the geocache. Then everything went HORRIBLY WRONG!!!

As I was sitting on the rope, it started moving, and THIS THING CAME FLYING DOWN AT ME!!! I've seen some big spiders in my day, but usually I am not concerned. However, this one CAUGHT ME!! I thought SURE I was going to be dinner! With creatures like this roaming the forest, I'm surprised so many have gotten out alive!!! The CO should PROBABLY post a warning on the page and use that skull and crossbones attribute, because I was LUCKY to escape with my little hamster life!!!

Needless to say, after that horrible Lord of the Rings: Return of the King meets Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets moment, I didn't bother going back to get the cache. It wasn't worth it at that point. Geez - I can't imagine why in the world so many people would like this cache - it was impossible to find and I almost became a hamster and cheese sandwich!!! Hopefully I can find something a little less monstrous tomorrow.
