Ring Around The Riggins and TFTC Challenge - 12/28/11

I'm really glad KBLAST actually remembered me this time, but I was bummed that I was once again unable to find Ring Around The Riggins. I found some spots that seemed like _I_ fit perfectly, but no cache! Even little S was trying to help me, and Journey was rooting me on as she often does! Oh well.

I knew I wouldn't be able to actually log the cache TFTC Challenge, but I thought I'd go look for the cache at least while KBLAST was there. Well, once again, another sign thwarting my attempts. Seriously? A leash? I almost left a pile on the sign just to express my displeasure, but then I saw the second line and didn't feel like KBLAST deserved to have to follow through with that one. Maybe tomorrow after our meeting with Parks and Recreation in Pickerington I'll be able to find a geocache!!!

Hot Pies #5 - Secluded Area for a Climb - 12/27/11

KBLAST was in such a hurry to get FTF at Hot Pies #5 - Secluded Area for a Climb he forgot me at home! I wanted to prove that I could climb trees anyway, so here's a shot of what it COULD have been like if KBLAST had remembered me!!! :( Oh well... at least it wasn't a DNF this time.

Timmy's Cache - 12/26/11

Got to Timmy's Cache today with KBLAST and his friends. He was out on an adventure today and wanted to include me! It's been a long time since I last geocached, but me and Journey jumped right in! TheLadyBee helped us find out way and kept us from plunging to our deaths, but I asked her (and the others not in the picture) to avoid giving away where the cache was. Unfortunately, my DNF streak starts anew... but boy did I have fun here!

Coming out of hiding

After my dealings with Groundspeak and my discussions with others, I decided to take a short break and get to know my new family a little better outside of geocaching. I'm getting excited, though... KBLAST is getting close to 2000 finds, and I want to get back into caching before that! Keep your eyes on this site, I'll be back soon!
